These cacao nibs are collected from organically grown cacao beans. These beans are naturally dried and fermented to release their intense chocolate flavour and aroma. In addition to being delicious, they are also a source of magnesium and a superfood.
Cacao nibs are a very versatile ingredient. Eat them as is, or use them in a raw dessert, smoothies, trail mixes and homemade hot cacao! They can be ground to create fresh cacao powder, turned into cacao liquor/mass, and pressed to extract fresh cacao butter. They can even be ground in a coffee grinder and brewed like coffee.
