Cinnamon is the dried inner bark of various evergreen trees belonging to the genus Cinnamomum. At harvest, the bark is stripped off and put in the sun, where it curls into the familiar form called "quills." A sweet, mildly pungent spice from the tropical highlands of Asia.

DIRECTIONS & USE: Use in apple pies, pancakes, eggnog, hot chocolate and coffee. Add to cinnamon rolls or French toast. Sprinkle over morning oatmeal or cereal
